Software Engineer

Cloudy Group is growing fast. We need strong software engineers to meet the challenges of a growing startup. Our software engineers are responsible for building modern and fast single page web applications and REST APIs, using tools like ES6, React, Node.js, PHP, the Flux application architecture, SCSS and more.
You will be a part of a product team that is focused on one of the areas of Cloudy Group roadmap and owning it end-to-end as much as possible to reduce dependencies. You will closely work with the product manager, designer, and other engineers to implement necessary features for the Cloudy Group platform. You will be able to dig into various parts of application development as well as give your voice in architecture-related decisions.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement modern single page applications using Node.js, PHP, ES6, React and the Flux architecture.
- Partner with Product Manager and Design to solve problems - get things done and enable value proposition.
- Own, operate and maintain your team's services across all development environments, including production.
- Be proud of your work. Beside good code, you also value the impact and seek for validation via telemetry or direct customer feedback.

Must have an eye for high growth opportunities and a keen understanding of driving revenue.

- Establish and maintain healthy relationships with clients by conducting regular status and feedback calls.
- Take full ownership and excellent care of our clients’ testing projects.
- Analyze our customers’ testing needs, agree on the criteria and timeline, and build out testing strategies.
- Manage the progress and understand the optimal hour utilization of our customers’ projects.
- Report back about problems identified during testing, including technical and business-related risks.
- Proactively search for areas to improve and seek to increase client satisfaction.
- Work together with talented testers of different cultural backgrounds from around the world.
- Define new or give suggestions for improvements to our existing testing processes, and effectively collaborate with other Testlio teams to bring the best solutions to life.

Test Lead

As our client base continues to grow at high speed, we’re looking for in-house Test Leads to join our QA team. Test Leads are essential to our success. They help determine project scope, manage test cycles, and report results. Test Leads work closely with our testers as well as our QA Project Managers to ensure testing meets Cloudy Group’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate Test Cycles - plan scope, estimate cycle length, invite testers and assign tasks.
- Create and update mindmaps, test cases, test suites and monitor the execution of those suites.
- Measure, control and write summary reports on the testing progress and results.
- Solve technical challenges such as obtaining logs or simulating geographical location.
- Support testers by answering their questions in their work and escalating any project blockers.
- Review testers work and give them meaningful feedback with suggestions for improvements, to nurture their development.
- Engage in client communication as per the guidance of the Project Manager.
